- We built 102 feet of galvanized steel guardrail, 42 to 48 inches high, for the fire department’s live-burn training building. Crews work on the roof during drills, so they needed fall protection at the edge.
- 12-gauge galvanized tube, posts no more than 60 inches apart, plated to the concrete roof and following its slope. Four 36-inch walk gates.
- The roof had a 2 1/2 inch gap between the surface and the structural concrete, so we cut through the roofing and fabricated 28 steel channels to tie each post into solid structure.
- Hot-dip galvanized for a fully exposed rooftop.
