Pricing

What a fence repair costs

What broke, how many feet of it, and if the posts and footings have to come out.

$800 to $3,000 / repair

Panel and picket work stays inside that range. It goes above once posts come out of the ground and new footings go in, or the damaged run is long enough to keep a crew on site for days.

Fast pricing

Three things to get you a price

01

What happened and how many feet

A vehicle, a break-in, or age. The length of the damaged run is what sizes the job.

02

Photos of the damage and the line

The break, and the fence standing next to it. The undamaged run is the spec we match.

03

The fence and the site

Iron or chain link, the height, and the city. Leaning posts mean footing work, which is a different job than panel work.

Most repairs price from what you send, without a site visit.

FAQs

Frequently asked questions

What does fence repair cost in Sacramento?

What broke, how many feet of it, and if the posts have to come out set the number. Most commercial fence repairs run about $800 to $3,000. Once footings come out or the run turns into a rebuild, it goes above that.

Can you match my existing fence?

Usually, yes. We fabricate in our own shop, so we match picket size, rail size, panel style, height, and finish. Send a photo of the fence next to the damage and that is what we build to.

Can I get a price without a site visit?

Often, yes. Send photos or a video of the damage and we can usually give you a rough price by phone or email. That price is based on what you show us, so if the line turns out worse on site, it changes.

Do you repair fences you didn’t build?

Yes. We repair existing metal fence.

Do you take emergency repairs?

Yes. Call it in and tell us what happened and where the site is, and we will tell if we can get to it and what it costs.

A leaning post: reset it or replace it?

If the post is straight and sound it goes back in with a new footing. If it is bent or rusted at the base it comes out and a new one goes in.

My gate is the problem, not the fence.

That is our gate repair page: hinges, tracks, frames, welds, and hardware on existing metal gates.
