Curved-Top Anti-Climb Steel Fence: Options and Cost
A 7 to 8 foot curved-top steel fence runs about $80 to $100 a foot installed, and $140 to $300 a foot with expanded metal.

A curved-top steel fence 7 to 8 feet tall runs about $80 to $100 a foot installed. The pickets run about 6 inches past the top rail and bend outward, away from the property, and the panels are made in commercial grade only, with 1-1/2 inch rails and 3/4 inch pickets.
Panels, posts, and finish
Curved-top panels are prefabricated. They come from the manufacturer powder coated black and ready to be installed.
A 7 or 8 foot fence puts more load on each post than a shorter fence, so the posts are 2-1/2 inches and up, set in concrete footings about 2 to 3 feet deep.

Adding expanded metal
Expanded metal is a steel mesh sheet mounted behind the pickets, which closes the openings between them. It comes in many gauges. A thicker sheet is harder to cut and costs more.
